Even though staycations can probably never replace the feeling that overseas travel invokes, I guess they are the best options for now.

Best option in my opinion because getting the kids out of the house and having all of us ‘cooped up’ in a hotel room (or two, in our case) allows all of us to really interact with one another. Playing games on the Switch together, having meals in the room together, chilling on the hotel bed together - that complete 100% attention we gave to one another. And so that was what we did for the Sep school holidays. Now to tackle the final year exams & O-levels head on!!!

Singapore Parenting website and was invited as a speaker at Asian Festival of Children's Content 2015, and a panelist for Singapore Children's Forum 2015. I was appointed a judge for Singapore Tourism Awards 2016 & 2017, and a Council Member of the Advisory Council on Community Relations in Defence (ACCORD) Family & Community and Families for Life Council. I also co-founded Daddy Matters (www.daddymatters.sg)—an online community of active dads as well as dads who want to be active in promoting the message of active fathering to everyone. Strongly believing in the maxim “ who says parenting can’t be fun?”, the blog covers the adventures that we embark on together as a family. It features new, fun and kids-friendly places to visit or dine in, the occasional overseas trips when the travel bugs bites as well as reviews of kids and lifestyle products and gadgets that the family will enjoy.
